Checklist: Open-and-go learning materials for summer school

Planning a successful summer school program is no easy task. You want to make sure you’re meeting the needs of your students with both remediation and enrichment activities, and you also have staffing, scheduling, transportation, and more to think about. To make it easier, we’ve put together a list of open-and-go learning materials that will help you plan an engaging summer school program that fits the needs of your students. 

As you plan your summer school program, consider ways you can continue to use the learning materials you invest in throughout the year — as take-home kits, for intervention, during after-school programs, and in the classroom — and let the learning begin!
